Prenatal Yoga

Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga

Khalsa Way prenatal yoga prepares a woman’s mind, body, and spirit for the experience of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa developed the practice based on the principle that if a woman is living in calmness, radiance, joy, and good health, she has created the atmosphere in which her baby will enter the world.

In these one-hour classes, we’ll:

  • Use mantras, chanting, and meditation to create a loving and healthy vibration for the baby

  • Work the physical body, mind, and spirit to create the confidence for a strong and healthy birth

  • Use meditation to create space to release fears about birth or parenthood, or our own past

Classes are held at the Mind Body Baby studio:
27001 La Paz Rd, Suite 378
Mission Viejo, CA 92691

About the instructor:

I’m Montserrat. I am a mother, and my life’s purpose is to support women during one of our most important transitions in this life: becoming a conscious mother.

I have chosen to follow a similar path as the one walked by my great-grandmother, Lupe, a partera (midwife) and curandera (herbalist healer) from Mexico. Inspired by her and my mother’s four home births, I’m delighted to be of service as a community-based pregnancy and postpartum doula, combining my knowledge with the ancient teachings of Khalsa Way (Prenatal Kundalini Yoga) to support women on their physical and spiritual journey toward childbirth and beyond.

I believe in the inner strength and wisdom of every mother. Thus, I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment to help navigate this miraculous time in life with grace and confidence.

My ultimate goal is to empower women through the tools I share so that they can become the masters of their own lives, births, and motherhoods.

I believe that when a woman heals and thrives, our world heals and thrives, too!
